I will be moving to Winnipeg next year. I have been there briefly for a job interview and then left. So, I didn't have time to look around besides around my hotel (which was at the fork). I will be renting a house or apartment when I first get there, but I don't have a clue which areas of town are the nice areas, which areas have a high crime rate and I should avoid, which areas are the gay-friendly areas (i.e. where the gays live), which areas are the artsy areas (my boyfriend is an artist)... Any info would be helpful. If you could suggest a gay-friendly real-estate agent, that would be wonderful... Thanks!
