We are currently looking for contributors for the second annual WINNIPEG DYKE MARCH ZINE. Our goal is to promote awareness of the personal politics behind the Winnipeg dyke march, we want you - community members to be involved. We are looking for folks to submit articles, poetry, comics, short written word pieces, photos and artwork. Feel free to create anything that you feel relates to your dyke identity, here are some things we would be really love to hear about;
-Safe spaces
-POC experiences and inclusion in the dyke community
-Community organization/uniting community
-Sexual Agency
-Mental health advocacy and experience
-Coming out
-Experiences with accessibility
-Trans inclusion in the dyke community
-Body politics
-Self-care
-Sexuality
We ask that your submissions be made on standard size printer paper (8'X11')
and should either be a 1/2 a page or a full page.
Submissions should be sent to wpgdykemarchzine@gmail.com by Friday May 22nd.
